Rotogravure is an intaglio printing process where the image is engraved into a cylinder. Ink fills the engraved cells and is transferred to the substrate under pressure, producing high-quality, consistent prints.
Rotogravure is most economical for runs of 50,000 meters or more due to cylinder costs. For shorter runs, we may recommend flexographic printing.
Chrome-plated gravure cylinders typically last for 1–5 million linear meters depending on substrate and ink type.
